Although John Wesley Work II may not have composed this hymn, without him we might not know of it today. He was a pioneer in collecting African-American spirituals from oral tradition and transcribing them for publication. He published “Go Tell It On The Mountain” in 1907. My duet arrangement is for two guitars. But on this audio, my own playing is augmented with some computer generated instruments.
